Starting Point: King Roald in the Varrok Palace.
Items Needed: 45 logs of the same type (Normal logs would be cheapest way to go) and a tinderbox. It's also recommended to bring Varrok teletabs (Around four is good) and energy potions (to make it a bit faster)

♠ Part One

» What are Beacons?

1. Head to King Roald in Varrok Palace and he will begin a conversation about the beacons that have been set up. The beacons are in need of testing, which is where you come in. The king will say the beacons were put up to warn of any attacks on Misthalin. Finally, the king will ask you to go speak to Blaze Sharpeye who can be found south of the Temple of Paterdomus.

2. Once by Blaze, speak with him and he will tell you about the beacons. Once the conversation ends your job is to try lighting the beacon.

» Let's get Lighting!

3. Now right click on the beacon (or just left click, whichever you prefer) to add all 20 logs of the same type on the beacon. Now right or left click again to light the beacon.

4. Speak to Blaze again and he will say hes impressed. However, now he wants you to light another beacon which is located near a woman named Squire Fyre. Squire Fyre is just west of the Rag and Bone Man's hut.

5. Take the same steps you did last time on this beacon so that it blazes (keep in mind you'll probably have to go back to the bank to get another set of 20 logs to light this beacon) Then go back to Blaze once you've lit it.

6. Blaze will tell you he can see the flare from where he's standing. However, he'll say the beacon you first lit has died down and he wants you to re-light it. Luckily, you only need 5 logs of the same type to re-light a "dying" flame. Again, you might have to go back to the bank to get the extra five logs. Now add the logs and the beacon should be good again.

7. Speak to Blaze once again for the last time. He will then tell you about all the other beacons and then direct you back to the King. Now head back to Varrok Palace and speak to the king. Congratulations, Quest Complete!

Reward: 5500 Firemaking experience, 20000 gp, access to the All Fired Up minigame, and 1 quest point.
